Carter Stanley

On December 1st, 1966, the world of Bluegrass lost one of its pioneering singers and songwriters. Today marks 40 years since Carter Stanley's passing in Kingsport, TN at the age of 41.

Richard Thompson has created a compilation of remembrances in honor of Carter Stanley, a man who will be honored for his contributions to Bluegrass music and a man who is, as the blog reads, "Gone, but not forgotten."

Please visit the Bluegrass Blog to access this collection.
