Ralph Stanley Museum To Host Live WJHL TV 11 Broadcast and Community Open House
The Ralph Stanley Museum & Traditional Mountain Music Center will host a live broadcast from WJHL Newschannel 11 on Monday, February 26 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Museum will offer admission free-of-charge, refreshments, and local music to accompany the broadcast, so bring the whole family for a special evening with the Ralph Stanley Museum and WJHL.
The live broadcast on February 26 is part of a forthcoming promotional progress edition of the Bristol Herald Courier about The Crooked Road: Virginia’s Heritage Music Trail, scheduled to be released on March 4. Host Tim Cable of WJHL’s “Cable Country” will appear live at several venues in late February to highlight area attractions and to promote the upcoming Crooked Road feature.
In conjunction with the live broadcast, the Museum Board of Directors and staff will offer free admission, refreshments, and local music to members of the community. If you haven’t experienced the Museum yet or if you’ve visited before and want to visit with us again, we’d like to welcome you on February 26.
