RSM&TMMC Extends Invitation to Local Artisans
The Ralph Stanley Museum & Traditional Mountain Music Center invites local artisans to submit their work for sales consideration in the Museum's gift shop. The RSM&TMMC Gift Shop Committee will evaluate all work submitted and provide a response within two weeks based on available space in the sales area as well as specific needs of the shop.
In accordance with the RSM&TMMC's mission, we extend this invitation to better support community arts and crafts while creating a one-of-a-kind gift shop that highlights the best that our area has to offer. If you are interested in submitting your work for Committee review, please contact Aaron Davis or Pam Morris at 276-926-8550.

Great economic potential for individual craftsmen and artists who have something to sell. Our mountains have some incredibly talented people who cannot share their arts and crafts with local as well as out of town visitors to our RSM/TMMC and its web site gift shop. Most visitors want to take away souvenirs or gifts representative of our area be it wood or coal carvings, musical instruments, pottery, quilts, paintings and sketches, or whatever. Hopefully our art teachers, news media, and others in the community will help get the word out.
